Powerful Aromatic Powers of Essential Oils

Essential oils are more than just pretty smelling oils. Beneath those beautiful aromas are some powerful aromatic components.

The volatile aromatic components of essential oils can have a profound effect on our overall wellbeing.

Are you ready for a bit of biology?

Our olfactory system is directly connected to our brain's limbic system. The limbic system processes and files memories, emotions and so much more. When we smell something, we have a reaction. For instance, when you enter a house where cookies are being baked and you encounter the scent of the baking cookies, you usually have a positive homey feeling come over you.

Essential oils can have the same effect. If you would like to feel uplifted and more cheerful, simply diffuse a citrus oil. Want to feel more grounded, then use a tree scented oil. Diffuse Roman Chamomile for a relaxing effect on your emotions. This is a simplified explanation of how essential oils work when we use them aromatically.

They are also very effective when we use them topically and internally along with some guidance. This is where I come in. Let's work together to find the best oils to help support your wellness goals.
